Go aids ex-rebels

Senator Christopher "Bong" Go, in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry, extended livelihood assistance to 120 former rebels from various towns in Bohol.

The beneficiaries received snacks, shirts, balls for basketball and volleyball, livelihood kits, and monetary vouchers.

Go also highlighted the Balik-Loob Program, a government initiative that aims to reintegrate former rebels into society.

He also encouraged the beneficiaries to visit the Malasakit Centers located at the Governor Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital in Tagbilaran City and at Don Emilio del Valle Memorial Hospital in Ubay for medical assistance.

The senator also said that Super Health Centers will be constructed in Buenavista, Candijay, Dauis, Sagbayan, Talibon, Antequera, Balilihan, Bien Unido, Carmen, Panglao, Tagbilaran City and Ubay.
