Minor among 3 nabbed in Taguig sting

Combined elements of the Southern Police District, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, and other law enforcement groups apprehended three persons, including a minor in a drug sting in Taguig City.

The coordinated effort to pin down drug personalities was executed in a buy-bust operation on Tuesday, 14 November along Adela South Sea, Barangay Rizal, Taguig City.

The arrested suspects were identified as alias Kim, female, 21 years old, alias Don, 16 years old and alias Reggie, 18 years old, the latter having a previous arrest record for drug-related offenses.

During the operation, the suspects were found in possession of 13 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, with an estimated weight of 55 grams and street value of 374,000.00.

Additional items confiscated included a P1000 bill used as buy-bust money, a green coin purse, and three Android cellular phones.

Complaints for Violation of Sections 5, 11, and 26 of Article II of RA 9165 are being prepared against the arrested suspects.
