Empowering women on breast cancer awareness

Footwear company Fitflop has consistently stood by the side of women through its innovative designs that provide comfort and style, as well as its partnership with the non-profit organization ICanServe Foundation Inc. in its advocacy for the early detection of breast cancer.

This year, from 20 October until 15 November, the partnership, now on its fourth year, continues to bloom as Fitflop pledges 5 percent of sales from participating shoe designs to the ICanServe Foundation as a tangible contribution to the breast cancer awareness cause.

The following designs are part of the promo: F-Mode Crochet Flatform Toe-Post Sandals, F-Mode Folded Leather Flatform Toe-Post Sandals and Rally Leather/Suede Panel Sneakers.

Health and comfort have always been central advocacies of Fitflop. The footwear's biomechanic design and the company's identity and long-cultivated partnerships all center on promoting wellness for women and the spaces they occupy.

Increasing awareness of breast cancer's symptoms and maintaining regular medical checkups can significantly contribute to saving lives. Fitflop and ICanServe efforts champion accessible early breast cancer detection through high-impact information campaigns and community-based breast screening programs in various cities, barangays and private communities nationwide.

To further strengthen these programs, ICS provides engaging talks from doctors and breast cancer survivors, support groups and the educational forums "Ating Dibdibin" and "Silver Linings."

As a thank you to ICanServe, FitFlop is also offering all ICanServe volunteers a 20-percent discount on select FitFlop footwear designs. Many ICanServe volunteers are themselves cancer survivors who dedicate their time to sharing their light with other patients and survivors, making their path better lit and the journey lighter.
