Senator Bong Go is advocating for enhanced government efforts to generate additional employment and livelihood prospects for impoverished Filipinos rebounding from multiple crises.

Go's team extended assistance to 293 micro-entrepreneurs at the Barangay Binduyan covered court on Tuesday, 7 November, and Brgy. Langogan covered court on Wednesday, November 8. Each beneficiary received masks and snacks while select recipients were given pairs of shoes, shirts, and balls for basketball and volleyball.

"Itong matatanggap ninyong tulong pangkabuhayan, gamitin niyo po sa pagbubukas o pagpapalakas ng inyong negosyo. Palaguin niyo ang inyong negosyo at dalhin ang mga kita sa inyong pamilya. Mas masarap po sa pakiramdam kung pinaghirapan ninyo ang perang inyong kikitain," Go said in a video message.

Meanwhile, Go also conveyed his hopeful outlook for the economy's resurgence, and cited the government's commitment to creating additional livelihood opportunities, particularly for the disadvantaged sector.

Go is one of the authors and co-sponsors of Republic Act 11960 or the One Town, One Product Philippines Act. The law shall assist and capacitate Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in developing new, innovative, and more complex products and services through significant improvement in the areas of quality, product development, design, packaging, standards compliance, marketability, production capability, brand development, sustainability, and securing licenses, product registration and other market authorization, among others.

Go, chairperson of the Senate Committee on Health and Demography, likewise offered to assist those with health issues as he encouraged them to seek the services of the Malasakit Centers located at Ospital ng Palawan in Puerto Princesa City, Culion Sanitarium Hospital in Culion, and Southern Palawan Provincial Hospital in Brooke's Point.

Go also continues to advocate for the construction of Super Health Centers nationwide. Through the collective efforts of Go and fellow lawmakers, sufficient funds have been allocated to construct some 307 Super Health Centers across the country in 2022 and 322 more in 2023.

In the province, two Super Health Centers will be established in Balabac and one each in Puerto Princesa City, Quezon, Sofronio Española, Taytay, Caruray, Magara, El Nido, Narra, and Tumarbong.

Go, vice chairperson of the Senate Committee on Finance also supported several projects in the province, including the construction of several multipurpose buildings in Batarza, Sofronio Española, and Roxas; road improvements in Aborlan, Brooke's Point, Coron, Sofronio Española, Narra, Quezon, and Rizal; installation of storm drainage and small water impounding project in Cagayancillo; the acquisition of dump trucks in Coron and Dumaran; and streetlighting project in Puerto Princesa City, Linapacan and Magsaysay.

Meanwhile, in line with his efforts to boost the health sector in the province, he also supported the construction of a health center in Aborlan, a rural health center in Busuanga, and Culion Sanitarium and General Hospital in Culion.
