Autohub Group introduces Segway e-Scooters

Last week, the 11th Electric Vehicle Summit took place at the SMX Convention Center, serving as the venue for an announcement that would benefit the future of personal mobility in the Philippines.

Autohub Group of Companies, a key player in the automotive industry, introduced Segway Electric Scooters, marking a new way to experience electric vehicle technology.

President Willy Tee Ten of Autohub Group opened his address with palpable energy: "An electrified afternoon to you all! From the 2-wheel side of the Autohub Group, I am thrilled to introduce a brand that is set to revolutionize personal mobility in the Philippines — the Segway Electric Scooters."

Segway, long known for its technological prowess and ingenuity in design, was put forth as the epitome of style and efficiency by Tee Ten.

But what exactly makes these eScooters noteworthy? The range consists of multiple models, each designed to address specific mobility needs.

The E300SE, for instance, has a maximum power output of 10 kW and can travel an impressive 130 kilometers on a single charge.

While the automotive world is no stranger to electric scooters, these specifications suggest that the E300SE could redefine performance metrics in this particular EV category.

Moving down the line, the E110L and N100 models bring practicality into focus. With a maximum power of 2.2 kW, both models appear well-suited for the everyday commuter.

The E110L offers a range of 110 kilometers, which suggests a certain freedom in terms of travel distances without the need for frequent recharging.

The N100 doesn't lag too far behind, offering a slightly shorter but still commendable range of 105 kilometers. These models appear to be designed for those who prioritize efficiency, compactness, and ecological sustainability.

Price is often a sticking point for new technology, but Autohub Group aims to allay such concerns.

"All the Segway eScooters models I mentioned will surely have a very competitive pricing to make it really an accessible option for the Filipinos," assured president Tee Ten.

To maintain momentum, Autohub Group also announced that unit reservations for Segway eScooters would commence immediately. Consumers will be able to officially purchase these models come January 2024.
