Flying Titans clip HD Spikers, win back-to-back

Choco Mucho strung its second straight win with a 25-21, 25-19, 25-18, sweep of Cignal in the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference Thursday at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City.

Sisi Rondina led the way with 18 points including 16 off attacks as the Flying Titans improved to a 2-1 win-loss record.

The high-flying spiker was also active in floor defense with 10 digs and five excellent receptions while Kat Tolentino made the most of her time in her first start with 14 markers for Choco Mucho, which ended a five-game head-to-head losing skid to the HD Spikers.

"This is such a big win for us because we've been waiting for this since the first conference," Flying Titans head coach Dante Alinsunurin said.

"Hopefully, we can sustain this."

Maddie Madayag put up 12 points, Isa Molde chipped in with 11 while Cherry Nunag got since half of which came off kill blocks for the Flying Titans.

The Cignal absorbed its second defeat in a row after three starts. Ces Molina and Roselyn Doria paced Cignal with 11 points each.
