Central Luzon holds climate smart school training

Paniqui, Tarlac — The Department of Agriculture in Central Luzon conducted the Climate-Smart Farmer Business School Field Day and Graduation Ceremony last Friday at Barangay San Carlos here.

A total of 28 farmers completed the said training that teaches the importance of Climate Smart Farming in the production of rice which is also aimed at rice production due to the ever-changing climate in the region.

The training also eyes to help farmers understand the new technologies and strategies to ensure the quality of their harvest despite the erratic climate.

As representative of the Rice Banner Program, Roger Pasetes expressed his gratitude to the graduates of the Farmers Field School.
