Missiles hit Ukraine, kills 3

Russia's missile barrage targeted civilian infrastructure in Ukraine overnight, leaving at least three dead and many wounded in several towns.

Stricken cities were from Rivne in western Ukraine to Kherson in the south, the capital Kyiv and cities in the center and northeast of the country, authorities said Thursday.

At least three people were killed in Kherson and many were wounded in other cities. Kherson's governor Oleksandr Prokudin said two of the victims were men aged 29 and 41.

The head of the city Roman Mrochko later said an 81-year-old woman had also been killed.

Authorities are searching for more victims.
