Public Attorney's Office chief Persida V. Rueda-Acosta yesterday issued a warning to the public against fake social media accounts claiming to be her accounts.
In her official Facebook page, Acosta said,"Scammers might use these fake accounts to the prejudice of unsuspecting innocent persons."
She identified the two fake accounts as https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100075944028806 and https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100082253745297.
Acosta asked the public to help her "ask Facebook to delete these two fake accounts using my name."
She repeatedly warned the public over the years against fake social media accounts claiming to be hers. Last year, the PAO chief denied she owned the Facebook account that claimed she was running for president.
"It illegally uses the pictures of PAO chief Persida Acosta without any authority — purposely to deceive the public that she is running for president," she said last year.
