‘Bahay Pag-Asa’ nears completion

LAMITAN CITY, Basilan Province — The Ministry of Public Works expressed optimism that the first Bahay Pag-Asa in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao constructed in Barangay Sta. Clara here will be operational by year-end.

MPW Basilan District Engineer Kasim A. Hasanin reported on Sunday that the P45-million twin Bahay Pag-Asa buildings are both 85 percent completed and expected to be fully complete before 2023 ends.

The two buildings are  both  funded under the Transitional Development Impact Fund of Member of Parliament and Minority Floor Leader Atty. Laisa Masuhud-Alamia and MPW have been identified as the lead implementer of the project.
