At Google Cloud Next '23, Google Cloud announced that Duet AI will now provide AI assistance across Google Cloud products and services to users spanning employees, software developers, IT operators, data practitioners, and cybersecurity professionals.

Duet AI is an always-on AI collaborator integrated into Google Workspace and Google Cloud. Duet AI in Google Workspace is now available to assist every user in writing, spreadsheets works, project management, note-taking for meetings, and creative visual designs. Meanwhile, Duet AI in Google Cloud is expanding its preview capabilities to optimize its power from software operations and data analysis to cybersecurity.

Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud, said, "It's been an exciting year so far for Google Cloud. We've achieved some noteworthy milestones, including in Q2 2023, reaching a US$32 billion annual revenue run rate and seeing our second quarter of profitability, which is all based on the success of our customers across every industry. We unveiled Duet AI at Google I/O in May, introducing powerful new features across Workspace and showcasing developer features such as code and chat assistance in Google Cloud. Since then, trusted testers worldwide have experienced the power of Duet AI."

"Simultaneously, we worked on expanding capabilities and integrating them across a wide range of products and services throughout Workspace and Google Cloud. Today, we're proud to announce new ways we're helping every business, government, and user benefit from generative AI and leading cloud technologies."

Google Workspace, a popular productivity tool, has introduced Duet AI to enhance further productivity for its over three billion users and 10 million paying customers. Since Duet AI in Google Workspace was introduced, Google Cloud has offered features like content refinement in Gmail and Google Docs, image creation, data insights with Google Sheets, and meaningful connections with Google Meet.
