Facing Senegal for the second time in three days, Gilas Pilipinas made the key defensive adjustments in the fourth period to take a 75-63 triumph on Sunday in the WUS International Basketball Tournament in Heyuan, China.

Down by six entering the final quarter, Gilas made the key stops in the fourth to quickly turn things around and exact vengeance against the same team which defeated them two nights ago.

Newcomer AJ Edu continued to impress as he finished with another solid effort, making 13 points, including three triples, but more importantly showed activity in tracking down those rebounds that gave the Philippines extra possessions.

Ray Parks provided the spark off the bench and scored eight points in the payoff period that touched off a big wind up for Gilas, who played their best endgame in three matches so far.

The Philippines won for the second time in three games and tries to wrap up its campaign n China with another victory against Iran B.
