MSC set in June, new regions added

DAILY TRIBUNE

The Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup will be more of a global competition when it commences on 10-18 June at a yet-to-be-determined venue.

Traditionally, the MSC has been participated in by Southeast Asian teams only with RSG PH being the defending 2022 MSC champion.

This year, however, Moonton has decided to add North America, Middle East North Africa, North America, and Turkey to the fold.

"The transition for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup into a global mid-season tournament has been planned in the pipeline for some time, and this year is a good start to the transition," said Sophie Guo, Regional Esports Lead of Moonton Games.

The Philippine representative to this year's MSC will be determined thru MPL Season 11, where the champion and the runner-up will get to carry the flag in the international tournament.

Besides RSG PH, it can be remembered that Filipino Esports organization Execration also had its taste of MSC glory when it won the championship in 2021.
