Senator Christopher "Bong" Go was hailed for his outstanding and significant achievement in public service during the Golden Globe Annual Awards for Business Excellence and Outstanding Filipino Achievers at the Manila Hotel last Friday, 16 December.
Established in 2005, the Golden Globe Annual Awards for Business Excellence and Filipino Achiever pays tribute to various personalities, politicians, entertainers and individuals who play an important part in society.
"Your faith in my abilities has pushed me to be the best version of myself. I am truly grateful for this award. However, with or without it, we continue to work and serve our people. Importante po, patuloy kaming magtatrabaho, mabigyan man ng parangal o hindi (We continue to work with or without any award)," he said.
The senator recognized the contribution and effort of his fellow awardees, underscoring how their unwavering dedication and commitment to serve the people has significantly uplifted the lives of many Filipinos.
"I am inspired by your commitment to serve your communities and make a positive impact in our beloved country. Your dedication to improving the lives of others is truly admirable, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to share this moment with you," he said.
Go thanked the members of the Golden Globe Awards for extending well-deserved recognition to the milestones of different businesses, brands, products and services that excel in their respective fields of expertise.
"I would like to thank everyone who is part of the Golden Globe Annual Awards for recognizing and celebrating the achievements of the Filipino. Your efforts to showcase the accomplishments of our people are greatly appreciated," Go said.
The senator assured that the government will continue its unhampered service to the Filipino people to ensure that no one is left behind towards recovery.
