Universal Records Philippines introduces the Filipino duo Ode to Mars.
The group's members, Odilon Reyes and Martin Patrick Tan, say they want to make music that will resonate with people's souls, with a sound rooted in 1990s Filipino alternative music, such as the songs of the band Parokya Ni Edgar.
Martin is the son of Parokya Ni Edgar's former manager Richard Tan, who also handled the careers of Kamikazee, Moonstar 88, and Chicosci, among others.
Ode to Mars' debut original single, "O' Sinta," is a sweet, modern-day serenade with relatable lyrics.
The track was produced by Ito Rapadas.
