Bong Go’s team provides aid to indigents in Dasmariñas City, Cavite

The Office of Sen. Bong Go, on Saturday, 26 November, aided struggling residents in Dasmariñas City, Cavite.

In his video message, Go noted how the country's healthcare system struggled due to the global health crisis. He then underscored the need to improve access to public healthcare services to ensure that more disadvantaged Filipinos will receive the medical attention they need.

In this regard, the senator, an adopted son of CALABARZON, vowed to support the establishment of eight Super Health Centers in the province, including in the cities of Bacoor, Dasmariñas, General Trias and Imus as well as in the towns of Carmona, Kawit, Magallanes and Tanza.

Held at the Brgy. Burol 1 covered court, Go's team distributed masks, snacks and shirts to a total of 500 residents. Select beneficiaries also received bicycles and new pairs of shoes.

Meanwhile, personnel from the Department of Social Welfare and Development provided the residents with financial assistance as part of a whole-of-government effort to assist Filipinos in crisis situations.

On 8 November, Go also aided residents in General Mariano Alvarez town.
