Since childhood, I have had many experiences which could not be explained rationally or scientifically. That is why these are often dismissed as mere fantasy or flights of imagination.
In my adult years, I have had, on several occasions, predicted the future. One time, I met an Indian man who was to be interviewed together with me on a television program. When I saw him, I told him he was married to a Filipina. He said I was wrong because he was not married and had not met any Filipina. Several months later, I met him again and he said he was indeed married to a Filipina!
In November of 1990, I met in a mall a former student of mine whom I had not seen for a long time. When I saw her, I told her without being asked that she would get married very soon and to a foreign man. She just laughed and said several friends have told her that but it never came to pass. In January 1991, I bumped into her again and she told me I was correct. She just got married to an Australian.
Six months before former senator Benigno Aquino Jr. was killed at the then Manila International Airport while alighting from his plane, I mentioned to some people in a restaurant that if Ninoy comes back to the Philippines, he would be assassinated. Six persons heard me say this and could confirm my statement.
Months before the 2010 presidential elections, former Makati mayor Jejomar Binay suddenly asked me during the wake of his
daughter-in-law, "What do you think if I run for president in the coming elections?" I replied, "Forget it, you would not make it."
He asked, "Why?" And I told him, "It is not your destiny."
"What about if I run for Vice President?" "You have a chance," I replied, "but it would be an upward struggle." He then asked, "Who do you think will win the presidency?"
I told him he will be a dark horse. Somebody nobody is expecting.
"Oh, that is me," cried Jojo Binay, "because I am dark."
I told him to forget it. True enough, during the election, somebody who was not originally in the running was elected president — Ninoy Aquino III.
There were a few other occasions when I was able to predict accurately what would take place in the future which can be confirmed by witnesses.
This does not mean that I have good psychic ability, because I do not. I believe anybody can have precognitive insights. It does not take a psychic or clairvoyant to have glimpses of future events.
As we know, many ordinary people have had dreams of future events which came to pass. They are not particularly psychically gifted. The reason for this is that psychic perception is part of everyone's mental faculties. However, some individuals have more developed psychic abilities than others.
The other reason why we can see the future is because the past, present, and future exist at the same time, but not necessarily in the same dimension or plane of existence.
The future is now! The passage of time for past, present, and future is an illusion. We live in a multi-dimensional reality. Even theoretical quantum physicists have openly proposed the theory of the parallel universes or the multiverse. So that events that are supposed to happen or take place in the past or future are happening at the present moment in different dimensions.
What is that again? I do not know how to explain this in ways that are understandable to the average person. I am not a physicist or any kind of scientist.
Perhaps one way to explain this is to imagine what happens to a story in a book or movie. The events past, present, and future are already known to one who has seen the movie or has read the book. But to those who have not read or seen it, time proceeds from past, present, and future.
Perhaps in the next twenty years, these concepts or theories will become clearer to us ordinary laymen. For now, let us just admit we cannot explain how we can see future events.
