Sen. Bong Go, who heads the Senate Committee on Health and Demography, continues to push for the establishment of more Super Health Centers across the country as part of his commitment to make health services more accessible to Filipinos, especially in far-flung communities.

In his video message during the relief activity mounted by his team in Noveleta, Cavite on Thursday, 24 November, Go reaffirmed his efforts to bring the government's public health services closer to more disadvantaged Filipinos, stressing the importance of further strengthening the country's healthcare system.

"Isinulong po natin ang pagpapatayo ng mga Super Health Centers sa buong Pilipinas dahil alam ko po kung gaano ninyo kailangan na mapalapit sa inyo ang serbisyong medikal mula gobyerno," Go underscored.

Go cited that there will be 307 Super Health Centers funded under the 2022 National Budget.

In Cavite, there will be eight SHCs in 2022 that will be strategically located in the cities of Bacoor, Dasmariñas, General Trias, and Imus as well as in the towns of Carmona, Kawit, Magallanes and Tanza.

Meanwhile, Go's team held the relief activity at the Unlad gymnasium for 1,333 Typhoon Paeng victims. They distributed masks, snacks and shirts. They likewise gave away bicycles, cellular phones, umbrellas, shoes, and balls for volleyball and basketball to select individuals.
