Airports on the track of typhoon "Karding" were spared from any major damage, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines reported on Monday.
CAAP identified the airports as those in Baguio, Laoag, Vigan, Lingayen, Rosales, and San Fernando, Tuguegarao, Cauayan, Palanan, Bagabag, Basco and Itbayat, Plaridel, Iba, Baler, Alabat, Jomalig, Calapan, Lubang, Mamburao, Marinduque, San Jose, Pinamalayan, Wasig, Romblon and Sangley.
Likewise, boarding operation were normal in airports located in Puerto Princesa, Busuanga, Cuyo and San Vicente, Bulan, Sorsogon, Daet, Masbate, Naga, Virac and the Bicol International Airport.
The CAAP said the Clark International Airport's Air Traffic Service resumed normal operations at 3 a.m. Monday.
Meanwhile, the Manila International Airport Authority said a total of 41 flights, both local and international, were canceled Monday due to the effects of "Karding."
On Sunday, "Karding" caused 35 flights to be canceled at NAIA's various terminals.
Major airlines like Philippine Airlines on Monday expressed hope normal operations may resume soonest following the departure of the typhoon.
