Sen. Bong Go's office, in partnership with the world-renowned Chef Valerie Castillo-Archer, mounted a distribution activity for 350 students at Payatas B. Elementary School in Quezon City recently.
In a video message, Go stressed the need to empower the youth and provide them better access to quality education.
"Sa mga kabataan, kayo po ang kinabukasan ng ating bayan. Kaya po kami po sa gobyerno, we will continue to support the youth sector in the best way we can," said Go.
"Malaki po ang aking tiwala sa administrasyong Marcos na ipagpapatuloy po itong kampanyang ito. Bilang Committee Chair on Health and on Sports sa Senado, ang advocacy ko ngayon is to get into sports and to stay away from drugs."
Go's staff handed out snacks to the students and gave away shoes, bicycles, cellular phones, and balls for volleyball and basketball to select beneficiaries.
