Inspired RSG silences ECHO; Blacklist bounces back

JM Siasat

Defending champion RSG PH sent ECHO crashing back to earth with an emphatic 2-0 beating for a three-game winning streak Saturday night in MPL Season 10.

Jungler Demonkite made sure that RSG won't have any of ECHO star jungler KarlTzy's postgame antics, as he led his squad to victory and a tight grip of the no. 4 spot. RSG improved to a 4-2 win-loss record with 11 points.

"This is the most exciting match because lately, I heard they say that their opponents are worthless so we wanted to show them. My mindset is to be good and have discipline. I do not think about our opponents," said Demonkite, who scored a 7/1/3 KDA with his Karina in Game 2.

Demonkite was referring to KarlTzy trash-talking Blacklist International after ECHO won against the M3 world champion last week.

RSG not only silenced ECHO but also pushed its victim down to no. 5 at 4-2 slate with 10 points.

Blacklist International, meanwhile, bounced back from their Week 3 heartbreak with a sweep over TNC, 2-0.

The two-time MPL PH champion suffered back-to-back defeats last week against ONIC PH and ECHO and was eager to prove that they only get better whenever they suffer a setback.

"Every time we lose we learn a valuable lesson. In those defeats we became better," Blacklist coach BON CHAN stated.

"We know how good TNC is so we had to take extra care after what they showed against ONIC yesterday," Blacklist team captain OhMyV33nus added.

Bren Esports, on the other hand, also dominated Nexplay EVOS, 2-0.

The win was their second in a row which improved their standing to 3-4 with 10 points that places them at the top 6 of the ladder.
