Stray dog chases 2 girls to their death

Two girls, 11 and 9, drowned in a lake in Los Baños, Laguna, on Tuesday after being chased by a dog.

The lifeless bodies of “Mae” and “Jhana” were found by authorities, with witnesses saying they were bathing in the shallow portion of the lake but was driven into the deeper part by the dog.

Local government officials have met and decided to ban swimming in the lake which has reached depths of 70 feet, but they were silent on what to do with stray dogs.
