Firecracker store catches fire after explosion

BOCAUE, Bulacan – An explosion occurred at a fireworks store before it caught fire and burned P400,000 worth of firecrackers here Saturday evening

According to a report from the Bocaue Municipal Police Station, the explosion occurred at the AT Sayo Fireworks Store along McArthur Highway in Binang 1st around 6 p.m.

Owned by Allaine T. Sayo, the fireworks store was being manned by seven employees and 3 siblings of the owner when they heard a loud explosion at the back portion of its stock room.

The people immediately evacuated the area as the fire grew razing a vehicle, a motorcycle, a bicycle, and the whole establishment.

Luckily, no personnel were hurt in the explosion and fire.
