Death comes on Christmas Day

Three men were shot to death on Christmas Day by unknown suspects who were riding motorcycles.

Police said the victims, identified as Juvie Largo, 29, and Lloyd Herbert Agucay, 29, both construction workers, and another who is yet to be identified who was wearing a red-and-blue striped T-shirt and dark blue pants, were outside the house of a witness when they were shot by the helmet-wearing men at around 6 p.m. in Barangay Commonwealth, Quezon City.

The witness, who was then watching television with his kids, said Agucay still managed to enter his house and hide in the toilet after being shot. He was immediately brought to a hospital where he was pronounced dead at around 6:55 p.m.

Largo and the unidentified victim died on the spot from gunshot wounds.

Quezon City Scene of the Crime operatives found 11 pieces of fired cartridge cases, two deformed bullets and a metal fragment at the crime scene.

The SOCO report said Largo sustained gunshot wounds on different parts of the body, while Agucay had wounds on his chest, buttock and back.

Police said Agucay was involved in illegal drugs and had just come out of jail from a similar charge in April 2019.
