‘Ursula’ moves to West Phl Sea

Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal has been lifted for the northwestern portions of Aklan and Antique, western portion of Romblon, Marinduque, southwestern portion of Quezon, Laguna and some portions of extreme northern Palawan, including Cuyo Islands, as Typhoon “Ursula” slightly slowed down and was spotted over the West Philippine sea on Thursday morning.

Signal no. 1 is still up over Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro including Lubang Island and the rest of extreme northern Palawan (Linapacan,El Nido), as of the 5 a.m. bulletin of state weather bureau PAGASA.

A still unverified report from the Office of Civil Defense–Western Visayas stated that seven persons were killed while six others were missing in Iloilo province.

Occasional to frequent heavy rains will still be felt over Calamian Islands and Occidental Mindoro, including Lubang Island and light to moderate with intermittent heavy rains over Oriental Mindoro, rest of extreme northern Palawan, CALABARZON, Metro Manila, and Central Luzon.
