Army paddlers bag three golds in Penang tourney

The Philippine Air Force (PAF) dragon boat team bagged three gold medals and a silver in the recent Penang International Dragon Boat Festival at Teluk Bahang Dam in Penang, Malaysia.

A total of 62 teams from 14 countries, composed of more than 1,600 paddlers, competed.

The Army Warriors ruled the Premier Women’s (200 meters and 450 meters) and Mixed (200 meters) categories and placed second in the Premier Open (200 meters).

The Warriors dedicated their medals to the entire PAF leadership, led by their commanding general Lt. Gen. Rozzano Briguez.
