Pagdanganan clinches SEAG golf gold

Bianca Pagdanganan held off her Thai pursuers to rule the 30th Southeast Asian Games individual golf on Friday at the Luisita Golf Club in Tarlac.

The 22-year-old LPGA rookie carded a final-round 71 for a three-round total of 7-under 209.

Kan Bunnabodee and Pimnipa Panthong tallied 212 and 213, respectively.

Pagdanganan will next team up with Lois Go and Abby Arevalo in match-play competitions.
