SUBIC BAY FREEPORT – Officials composed of volunteers, the Philippine National Police (PNP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) and venue personnel made sure that the venues of the 30th Southeast Asian Games were secured on Tuesday afternoon.

The biennial meet moved most of its events on a different schedule here in preparation the onslaught of typhoon Tisoy.

The group already removed tent canopies, tarpaulins and signs while packing up objects such as buoys, boats, boards and other water crafts.

The hotel managers and venue officials are also making sure that the participants and the public are safe from any possible damages brought by flying debris such as signs and structures used in the SEA Games.
