From arnis to pencak, Tacuel’s “golden” decision

SUBIC BAY FREEPORT – Former arnis player and now Philippine representative to Pencak Silat seni tunggal event Edmar Tacuel has made a golden decision of shifting sports as he wins the gold medal during the 30th Southeast Asian Games on Monday.

Tacuel garnered 470 points, beating Muhammad Rahman of Singapore with 461 points, and Indonesia’s Dino Sulistianto with 460 points.

Tacuel said that he was overjoyed upon winning the gold medal for the country, adding that the training and hard work paid off.

He added that this is his first time to join the SEA games, saying that lady luck was also part of the win.
