Boy stabbed dead before sisters

An 18-year-old boy was stabbed dead in front of his siblings during a heated confrontation by an opponent on Wednesday morning in Sampaloc, Manila.

Declared dead on arrival at the Ospital ng Sampaloc was John Nicolas Sayson, alias “Kulas” of Barangay 420, Zone 42, Sampaloc.

Police identified the suspect as Jovito Lor, 26, who was arrested in a follow-up operation by the Lacson Police Community Precinct.

Investigation by PMSG John Paul Rojo of the Manila Police District-Homicide Section said Sayson and his sisters were going to a store when he met the suspect, who had just come from a drinking spree, and had a disagreement with him.

All of a sudden, Lor drew a kitchen knife he was carrying and stabbed Sayson in the chest.
