Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar opens its annual local market fair titled “Weekend Craft Community Market” featuring some of Region 3’s native products.

Bataan craftspeople, farmers and small entrepreneurs will have handmade goods for everyone on the shopping list.

In partnership with Bataan Provincial Tourism Office, check-in guests and day-tour visitors may support local entrepreneurs through buying their goods including fresh vegetables, fruits, famous pasalubongs such as cashew, ube, gourmet tuyo, banana chips, mussel chips, dried fish, potato chips, polvoron and more.

Souvenir crafts, musical instruments, household materials are also showcased every weekend at the market fair fit whether the guest is a vintage enthusiast, a musician or simply a foodie.

Assistant general manager Rogelio Dacanay says, “More than being a heritage destination, Las Casas loves mounting events that aims to help our community. It is our way of giving back.”

Said bazaar will run until 5 January 2020 at Plaza de Castro in Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar, Bagac, Bataan.
