Glow like Dimples
As a working mom, we want to give our children and families the best of everything. But that would only happen if you are masipag and madiskarte (hardworking and persevering).
TV’S most hated kontrabida is all a glow.
Growing up in show business for almost her entire life, Dimples Romana is used to facing the cameras for long hours. Her line of work requires her to look good and fresh all the time, be it when she’s shooting teleseryes, commercials or endorsements, or just being in public.
“I realized that taking care of my skin is an investment, that this is a source of income. And I worked on it. The truth is now everybody wants to have celebrity-looking skin even if they are not one,” Dimples said during her official launch as ambassador of local brand Skin Magical.
For Dimples, her work also came with the stress that took a toll on her skin. “I started working very early so you can just imagine the puyat and pollution my skin had to go through every single day,” she recalled. “I put makeup on almost everyday, even until now that I’ve been working for decades already. I just realized now how important it is to actually take care of your skin.”
She expressed her excitement to be chosen as the face of the brand which, according to her, is something she truly believes in.
“I’m glad that I’m doing this campaign and endorsement with Skin Magical not only because I’m proud that all the products are really effective, affordable, very good for business for a lot of people and a lot of women, but it’s also proudly Filipino made,” she said.
Skin Magical’s campaign, which was inspired from Daniela Mondragon, her “gandang palaban” character in Kadenang Ginto, symbolizes a woman’s confidence, beauty and happiness.
Dimples invests on her skin because it is part of her job to look presentable.
“It’s also nice for you to be able to influence your friends with something that is effective but also proudly locally made. At Skin Magical, we accept the fact that we have a lot of morena women who would like to keep their skin morena and we respect that,” Dimples mused.
Skin Magical currently has 80 franchisees and 150 distributors with an average delivery of 100,000 to 150,000 of Rejuvenating Sets every month.
“I just want to be more involved and inspire other people as much as possible. I genuinely want to share all the kindness that people have shared with me. You just have to pay it forward by sharing the same kindness. As a working mom, we want to give our children and families the best of everything. But that would only happen if you are masipag and madiskarte (hardworking and persevering),” Dimples concluded.
