Sen. Bong Go addresses officials in Malacañang on Wednesday during the signing of the manifesto of support to the anti-corruption campaign of the government.

Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go attested that President Rodrigo Duterte is in good shape and continues to fulfill his duty while taking advantage of the more relaxed atmosphere in his hometown.

The President was supposed to be in Davao as early as Monday but was stalled by his meeting in Manila with Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) chair Nur Misuari. They discussed the creation of a Peace Coordinating Committee in Malacañang.

Hindi niyo alam, naroon siya, nagtatrabaho,” Go told members of the media in Malacañang on Wednesday during the signing of the Manifesto of Support to the anti-corruption campaign of the government.

But, rest assured, he is ok.”

Go said the President delayed his rest by one day to accommodate Misuari, whom he will meet anew in December along with other government and MNLF officials.

“Magkakaroon ng another meeting. Palitan, Manila tapos Davao and even Zamboanga. Kung saan convenient for both parties na pwede sila mag-usap,” Go said.

“On the part of the government, kasama na ang National Security Adviser, Department of Justice at Department of Foreign Affairs.

The President will stay in Davao until Thursday. The following day, he will visit farmers in North Cotabato to listen to their concerns.
