DLSU holidays eye games boost

De La Salle University (DLSU) has suspended classes for a week in December to help in assuring the smooth holding of the 30th Southeast Asian Games.

Based on an advisory of the Office of the Chancellor of DLSU-Manila, the holidays will be from 2 to 7 December.

All DLSU employees are included in the holiday declaration. Access to the campus will also be restricted during the days when the regional sporting event are held.

DLSU said in a message that the school’s decision was meant to free road traffic during the holding of the sports events.

“In view of the activities directly connected with the Philippine hosting of the 30th Southeast Asian Games, please be informed that from December 2 to December 7, 2019, classes and office work in the Manila Campus will be suspended,” the memorandum stated.
