4 students nabbed in pot session

NEW WASHINGTON, Aklan — Four college students were arrested by local drug enforcement authorities after they were caught having a pot session in a cottage of a private resort in Barangay Tambak here Friday night.

Police major Frensy Andrade, team leader of the Provincial Drugs Enforcement Unit, identified the suspects as Robby Tabulinal, 20; Von Gielo Ambrocio, 19; Keno Dave Supetran de la Torre, 19; and Angelo Vrian John Agustin.

Andrade said the suspects were arrested during a pot session after a buy-bust operation. Sachets of marijuana leaves and at least two cannabis oil bottles were also taken from the suspects.

They will also undergo drug testing as Andrade said they received reports that the suspects were conducting pot sessions every Friday.
