6.6 magnitude quake rattles Cotabato

(UPDATED) A 6.6-magnitude earthquake hit Cotabato on Tuesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) reported.

The quake which has a depth of 8 kilometers, hit at 9:04 a.m. with its epicenter located at east of Tulunan, Cotabato.

PHIVOLCS is expecting damages and afteshocks following the massive tremblor.
