‘Yorme’ donates talent fees to quake-hit Minda

With the devastation and fears prevailing in Mindanao following the strong temblors that hit its provinces the past days, Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso on Friday has donated at least P5 million worth of his talent fees to the region.

In a statement, the Manila Public Information Office revealed that Domagoso gave his P3 million talent fee from pharmaceutical company Pascual Laboratories and his P2 million pay from cosmetic dermatology and surgery expert Belo Medical Group as aid for earthquake victims.

Domagoso previously donated his talent fees to the Philippine General Hospital, the country’s largest government health institution.

To recall, Cotabato was struck by several strong earthquakes since 16 October — including a 6.3-magnitude tremor that struck Tulunan town – where least seven people were killed and injuring more than 60 others.

Tulunan was also the epicenter of the 6.6-magnitude temblor that struck on 29 October and the three earthquakes had a combined death toll of 23 with two others missing and 618 injured, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.
