Metrobank, AXA personal accident insurance promo

Saving is a vital financial discipline. It helps one become financially secure and provides a cushion for unexpected expenses. However, many Filipinos lack adequate emergency funds, which results in depleted savings when accidents arise.

To enable customers to supercharge their savings, Metropolitan Bank &Trust Co. (Metrobank), in partnership with AXA, one of the country’s leading insurance companies, now offers the Metrobank-AXA Free Personal Accident (PA) Insurance Promo. With the goal of providing a more meaningful method of saving, this partnership offers free PA insurance meant to give customers financial assurance and protection during unforeseen and unfortunate cases.

New account holders will get a free P100,000 personal accident insurance to help shield them from the worry and anxiety of paying for the costs of accidental death and permanent disablement.

Extended until 31 December 2019, the promo is available to customers aged 18-70 years old who will open a new account for as low as P2,000 in any Metrobank branch nationwide.

“With this offer, Metrobank aims to help customers live more meaningfully by taking away the additional burden in times of dire need. This allows them to allot their hard-earned savings for important things and create more meaningful moments with their loved ones, at whatever stage in life,” says Metrobank chief marketing officer Digs Dimagiba.

PSBank marks 25th year as listed company

Philippine Savings Bank (PSBank; PSB) commemorated its silver listing anniversary with a special bell ringing ceremony at the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE).

PSBank, a subsidiary of Metrobank, was the first savings bank to list in PSE.
