Drug suspect busted

A 35-year old man was nabbed by police authorities in a buy-bust sting in Mandaluyong City on Tuesday evening.

The suspect was identified as Anthony Clemente, alias Anton, 35, who is included in the unified drug watch list in the city.

He was arrested by members of the Mandaluyong City Police Station drug enforcement unit operatives along Country Side, Barangay Barangka Ibaba.

Seized from him were eight heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and the P1,000 buy-bust money.

The suspect is now detained at the Mandaluyong City Police Station custodial facility while charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against him.
