OLONGAPO CITY – A 10 feet by 16 feet mango pizza was the highlight of the SM Supermalls’ campaign “Zambales and Tarlac Food and Adventure Bestival” that was recently held at the SM Olongapo Central.

The pizza was infused with Zambales’ most famous produce, mango, producing a sweet and delectable flavoring that some people say is better than pineapple for pizza.

The SM Supermalls’ campaign combines the North and Central Luzon, showcasing all the food, go to places and activities that tourists can do in the provinces of Zambales and Tarlac.

According to an official of the company, to capture the “best” in the campaign, the company will be conducting the Local Frolic segment of BESTival event. These include an exhibition of festival street dancers and unveiling of the giant featured food.

The mango pizza was baked and prepared by the Lyceum of Subic Bay and the Gordon College HRM students. Meanwhile, the Zambaleño Dinamulag Festival Dancers from Masinloc and San Felipe wowed the crowd with their beautiful dance exhibition.

The SM City Olongapo Downtown also showed recipes infused with mango with a modern twist. While the Pase Ballo dance group of the Gordon College opened the program with the Sibit Sibit dance exhibition.
