Nene Pimentel in ICU

Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan founder and chairman emeritus Aquilino “Nene” Pimentel Jr. is reportedly in intensive care unit at an undisclosed hospital, the political party’s spokesman Ron Munsayac said in a tweet Monday evening.

Pimentel, 85, was the former Senate president serving from 2000 to 2001 and the father of former Senate president Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III who has been reelected in the mid-term elections last May.
