NEW YORK, United States — At least four people died in a shooting early Saturday at a private social club in New York, US media reported.

The shooting happened at a rental space for parties in the Brooklyn borough of the city and five other people were wounded, NBC and other news outlets reported.

They say officers were called around 7 a.m. to 74 Utica Ave.

Officials say the five injured include at least one woman, and that all injuries are serious but non-life threatening.
