A 40-year-old Indonesia woman is facing drug trafficking charges after her luggage yielded P54.4 million worth of shabu when she arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 Monday.

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Regional Office-National Capital Region Director Joel B. Plaza identified the suspected drug courier as Agnes Alexandra of Jakarta, Indonesia.

Alexandra arrived at the NAIA from Siam Reap, Cambodia aboard Cebu Pacific Flight 5J 258.

The inspection of her luggage by a drug sniffing dog prompted PDEA officers at NAIA and a customs examiner to thoroughly inspect the luggage where they found eight kilograms of white crystalline substance.
