Meralco to slash October electricity rates

Meralco on Thursday announced that there is a possibility that electricity rates may go down this month.

According to Meralco utility economics head Larry Fernandez, should the electricity rates go down this October, there will be a six month-long slash in electricity prices.

To recall, Meralco cut electricity rates up to P1.52 per kilowatt hour from May to September.
