DZRH offices gutted

Employees of the Manila Broadcasting Corp., a company which runs the country’s oldest AM radio station DZRH, have expressed of losing their jobs following the conflagration at the Star City Complex in Pasay City.

The fire, which started at past midnight in a room where stuffed toys and other prizes for amusement park patrons were kept, was put under control by 4:30 a.m.

The Star City is rivalled only by the Enchanted Kingdom in Sta. Rosa, Laguna in terms of the scale of their amusement park operations.

It usually was most busy during the Christmas season and summer vacation.
