Manila police nab ‘drug queen’ pal

An alleged cohort of suspected drug dealer Guiao Gomez Castro was presented by Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso on Monday.

At the same time, Domagoso challenged the government of Thailand, where Castro supposedly fled, to cooperate in the arrest of the so-called “drug queen.”

The Manila government, now in possession of two arrest warrants for Castro, also vowed to help find “ninja cops” or policemen involved in the reselling of confiscated illegal drugs.

“We do not tolerate these illegal activities and we are willing to help in the arrest of suspects,” said Domagoso.

An Immigration Lookout Bulletin Order was issued by the Immigration department on Friday, alerting all officers to monitor the flight itineraries and whereabouts abroad of Castro, a barangay (village) chief in Sampaloc, Manila

Also presented at the Manila City Hall were three other suspects included in the city’s list of most wanted criminals.

The Moriones, Tondo police arrested Mark Cervantes (a.k.a Dansoy), a suspected thief who is now detained at the Manila City Jail; the Manila Police District-District Intelligence Division and Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-Manila got hold of suspected killer Roberto Montel and detained him at the MPD Malate jail; and Jonas de Jesus, facing three counts of rape, fell in the hands of the MPD Plaza Miranda, Quiapo Police Community Precinct.
