6.1 quake rattles Davao Occ

The Davao Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office is in the process of monitoring injuries and damage that may have been caused by a 6.1 magnitude earthquake that struck the province at 10:02 a.m. on Sunday morning.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) located the epicenter of the tectonic earthquake at 126 kilometers of the municipality of Jose Abad Santos.

Intensity III was felt in Kidapawan City in Cotabao and Davao City.
