Manila ‘drug queen’ named

Manila Police District director Brigadier General Vicente Danao Jr. identified Guia Gomez Castro as Manila’s so-called drug queen who resells illegal drugs seized by cops.

Castro is the unofficial barangay captain of Barangay 484 Zone 48 in Sampaloc as she reportedly did not take her oath.

National Capital Region Police Office Chief Major General Guillermo Eleazar said they are still verifying reports that Castro already left the country but no warrant of arrest has been issued yet.

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency chief Aaron Aquino first disclosed an operation against Castro.
