Week-long power outages in NCR

A number of barangays in Metro Manila and nearby provinces will experience power interruption this week due to Meralco’s maintenance activities and facilities repair.

In an advisory, the power company said the repairs will result in momentary outages in several service areas.

Consumers can expect disruptions until Sunday, 1 September.

Areas to be affected include barangays in Caloocan, Makati, Mandaluyong, Manila, Pasay, Marikina, Pasig and Quezon City.

Interruptions would also affect some barangays in the provinces of Bulacan, Laguna, Rizal and Quezon.

Meralco advises residents in affected service areas to monitor announcements on posts on its social media sites.
