SM Cinema pays tribute to film industry

SM Cinema, a firm believer of Filipino craft celebrates the 100th Year of Philippine Film Industry with this showcase that pays homage to local art and film.

SM Cinema commissioned the last standing maker of hand-painted movie billboards in the Philippines to render life-size masterpieces out of the Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino (PPP) festival movie’s digital posters.

The Centennial of Philippine Film which coincides with PPP, is an opportune take a glance at these artifacts that epitomize Filipinos’ ingenuity.

The PPP ran from 13 to 19 September, 2019.
